On Sunday evening, Israeli forces abducted a young man near Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the West Bank, and another five in the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
Israeli forces abducted an unidentified Palestinian, on Sunday evening at the “Anabta” military roadblock east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
Media sources said that soldiers stopped the young man’s vehicle before handcuffing and blindfolding him.
Meanwhile, in the central West Bank, occupation forces stormed the Jabal al-Tawil neighborhood in the city of Al-Biereh, which sparked protests among local Palestinian youths.
The army opened fire at those who resisted the incursion, with tear gas canisters and concussion grenades, without any reports of any injuries.
Furthermore, in the southern West Bank, Israeli soldiers chased Palestinian youths and abducted five in the Old City of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
Local activist, Aref Jaber, said the soldiers invaded the Jaber neighborhood near the Ibrahimi Mosque and abducted five young men, three have been identified as Tareq Rasmi Jaber, Abdul-Haroun Jaber, and Abdul-Rahman Wajeeh Jaber.
Jaber added that the soldiers have escalated the restrictions around the Ibrahimi Mosque and the Old City, and continued the interrogation of the locals.
He said the soldiers assaulted many Palestinians while searching and interrogated them, especially while returning to their homes in the evening.
